Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.5
This may be a graphics issue. When I click on the show desktop button or use ctrl-alt-d the image of firefox "pasted" against the desktop background and Icons. Often horizontal segments of firefox's image is static instead. And even less often a few narrow horizontal segments where the desktop did render. If I click on the desktop while I can't see it then rectangular segments of the desktop are rendered.
Update: I just noticed that if an application is behind firefox when I use the show desktop fetcher, often but not always the image of the application behind firefox ends up "pasted" against the Desktop.
Obviously the desktop is just not rendering. But it only does it when firefox or google chrome are used.
nautilus version: 1:2.28.1-0ubuntu
compiz version: 1:0.8.2.4-0ubuntu2
firefox version: 3.5.7+nobinonly
Thanks guys. If you do need graphics card information (I don't know if it automatically goes into the report) then I may need help to know what info you need and what commands to run to get that info.
Again Thanks.
