Firefox does not return from hibernation. application hangs.

Binary package hint: firefox-3.5

when returning from Hibernation, the Firefox application will remain on "Loading" pages.
I must quit that session and there is still one in the process stack but not visible by icon on the desktop trays.
kill firefox is run to clear all instances and then it operates properly until the computer hibernates again.
