Local Firefox installation notify me that it need to be restarted, but he doesn't

Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.5
I have a private installation of mozilla firefox in ~/firefox, and a "apt-get" installation from repository.
After an upgrade from firefox v.3.5.4+
firefox keep notifing me that it need to be restarted, but my "private" installation as not be upgraded!
I think this is a bug.
