Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.5

Using jaunty, it was possible to drag bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar into another bookmarks folder; or a folder into another folder.
Then it was posible to drag browser tabs, to rearrange them.

Since the upgrade to karmic this does not work any more - drag&drop seems to be gone.

drag&drop in the bookmarks sidebar (Ctrl+B) doesn't work neither.

hm. pictures and text on webpages can't be dragged.
Seems that D&D support for firefox is broken?
Can anyone confirm this or is this a problem that only I have?
Thanks,
Christian

I can't confirm this.
But I can confirm similar problems described in Bug 475587.

I can confirm that I see the same symptom. However it does work immediately after starting firefox. At some point it stops working, and I need to restart firefox before it works again. I think what triggers the bug is attempting to drag the "Latest Headlines" folder into another folder.

I'm seeing this on Oneiric.
And it's unrelated to "Latest Headlines", I'm having this right after restarting Firefox.

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

Changed in firefox-3.5 (Ubuntu):
