Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.5

On some times firefox will ignore the size of it's window and put part of the UI in limbo.
When this happens i have no search button in the search box, no open new tab, some tabs might be missing or missing the close button, and i don't have any scroll bars, but the window title bar is the correct size, including the 3 buttons to the right (close etc.).
This also happened on a different computer but i thought it was because of a buggy Geforce 4200 driver that cause the screen to be 640x480, but this time it is on a 1024x1280 with FB drivers.

See ironic screenshot for details.

This is not a daily problem on multiple machines, i have firefox 3.5.7 atm, but it has been an issues since the start of Ubuntu 9.10.

I have found that if i search for text on the page, theres a chance that the UI will recover when ever i hit Next in the search box.

I just found out that atleast on my laptop this always seams to happen when i am searching the content of a page, and the focuse is on the last instance of the word on the page, when i then hit next and the focuse moves to the first instance on the page i loos the UI, if i then press next again the UI returns.
