address links in Firefox are blue which is actually horrible

For firefox, a possible workaround is to add these CSS lines to userChrome.css (create it in .mozilla/firefox/PROFILE-DIRECTORY/chrome if it doesn't exist) :
.ac-comment {font-size: 100% !important; color: #333 !important; font-style: italic;}
.ac-comment[selected='true'] { color: #FFF !important; }
.ac-url-text {font-size: 100% !important; color: #806558 !important; }
.ac-url-text[selected='true'] { color: #FFF !important; }

(Need to be adapted with the hexadecimal colors that match your design :) )

so u are telling me the problem is in fire fox? and what about the other applications that have the same problem? like theme selector?

it's a firefox default setting, but the combination with some ubuntu themes (especially dark ones) leads to text being unreadable (e.g. dark-blue text on a dark-brown blackground). Perhaps it's an idea to bundle a userChrome.css file with some of the darker default themes?
