Firefox 3.5 64bit has trouble showing certain websites

www.a1.net: unable to display certain parts of the website, large black holes shown instead of pictures
www.hotmail.com: replying to emails does not show the textfield properly, entering text is impossible or deletes the field when pressing send, sending only an empty mail

works perfectly with ff 3.0 or ff 3.5 32bit (downloaded from the website)

I am using ff 3.5.2 on Ubuntu 9.04 (2.6.28-15-generic)

I see the hotmail.com problem with Shiretoko (3.5.2+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.9.04.1) on Jaunty. Will check on Karmic.

Keep in mind that Firefox-3.5 on Jaunty is NRFPT, so if you're just looking to play, you might want to use the PPA: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-mozilla-daily/+archive/ppa.

Confirming that it (Hotmail w/ 3.5.2+nobinonly-0ubuntu2) works just fine on Karmic.

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. I'm not seeing the problems that you are having on www.a1.net
Is there a specific page and/or image that is problematic?
The Hotmail issue has already been reported as part of bug 397211 and appears to be related how hotmail interprets different user agents.

Hm the frontpage seems to be a flash related problem.
