This error is still present in , Uname: Linux 2.6.31-4-generic i686 , and Package: firefox-3.5 3.5.1+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu1

This error is still present in 2.6.31-4-generic #23-Ubuntu SMP Mon Jul 27 18:39:59 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux
and Package: 3.5.1+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu1

This happens when apport tries to launch Firefox-3.5 , if not already open.

If firefox-3.5 is already open, Apport is able to connect to launchpad with no problems.
