Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
Hi,
firefox scales pages wrong if absolute values are given in CSS sheets of pages, which,
e.g. tell that a div is 5cm wide or a font is 10pt large. Everything is too small.
In contrast, Microsoft's Internet Explorer prints correctly, so it does not seem to be a problem of the web pages.
It seems as if there was some scaling factor that tells firefox a wrong page size.

I've found the reason:
If the html page contains a <pre>...</pre> statement with *very long* lines, firefox scales the page down to fit as much as possible on the page unless a style "overflow:hidden;" is given. If so, the page appears corrently, but, of course, the contents are cut.
I am not sure whether this is really a bug, but it differs from all other browsers I've tested (IE, konquerer, galeon).
