Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Loading the following webpage crashes Firefox in 64-bit Karmic. The problem is reproducible on 3.5.2 and 3.0.13. Another IRC user confirms that the webpage crashes FF 3.5.2 and 3.0.13 in 64-bit Karmic. However, a user of 32-bit Karmic reports that he has no issues loading this website in FF 3.5.2.

(Apologies if this is misfiled, but the Report Broken Website option has been removed from FF by the Ubuntu packagers).

Noticed something weird. When I start firefox with 'firefox-3.5' and then go in firefox to the page => CRASH (= first strace)

BUT when I start firefox with 'firefox-3.5 https://security-shell.ws/showthread.php?t=15891&page=2' => It shows the page correctly ! Without crashing!
Attached a strace of that also

Ignore the above statement :) running firefox-3.5 https://security-shell.ws/showthread.php?t=15891&page=2 cutted off the &page=2, and that works ofc :)

I am unable to reliably reproduce when it crashes and when it doesn't, after extensive experimentation. I wonder if the data that the server sends is changing?

This is 100% sure NOT a flashplugin bug! I completely REMOVED flashplugin-installer/flashplugin-nonfree & the 64bit flashplugin. And it STILL crashes firefox !
