Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

(similar to #132705), jaunty nbr on eeepc900,
- the "open" works fine also if in some cases one has to chose the program; but..
- the "open folder" just after it, instead of showing folder content with downloaded item in evidence, always open directly/immediately the window to chose a program;
- maybe related or not: after I ask to download/save an item the confirmation message "open with default for that" or "save to disk" not always recognize the file type also if just predefined(automatically or by me)
By the way I noticed that local translation too often are wholly substitutes of the real program name, and man pages too don't mention it, so if I would launch it from command line or chose as in the first line case, I must do a rather long reseach to find the reeal name that I want. I deem a more strict, complete and explicit info must be a new standard specific of "abaut" tabs and headings in info and man pages in original and in translation. (Furthermore some programs ie: Networkmanager, need an apposite version [cnetworkmanager in this case, but not yet for debian branch] or different smaller programs to accomplish the desired task) and also these must be cited and cross referenced in a correct information standard specific. I know this last observation goes beyhond the scope, but is anyway relevant to this topic and will enhance autosufficence and selfconfidence of the user, and will reduce also misunderstandings and false problems.
Sincerely
Tommaso Aversa
