Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

I have a fresh hardy (8.04.2) install with firefox 3.0.1 when I go to this page: "http://capof-space.org/?p=523" firefox crashes instantly.

I can reproduce it (it crashes each time I try to go there).

When I tested this site, Firefox didn't close, but the window took on the compiz "grayed window" look, and the application stopped responding.

I'm running Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090606 Ubuntu/9.10 (karmic) Minefield/3.6a1pre, so the problem likely exists upstream. It may be worth submitting a report to the Mozilla bug tracker, or forwarding to upstream.

That's what I meant by "crashes".
