just the summary ... I try another explanation - just after entering www the chronic of the latest set bookmarks pops up to choose - how could this switched off ???

Are you sure that the chronic of bookmarks and history can be turned of in the Windows version of Firefox? For me this is a feature of Firefox, not a bug.

Should this bug be converted to a question?
