firefox 3.0.10 flickers and lost some configurations

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

After updating to FF 3.0.10 the interface changed: the FF window occupies all the screen, I can't see the system bar and the bar of the open windows; and I can't mimimize FF window as there is no more bar at the top (the bar with the X to close), I can just switch with Alt+tab or close FF with Alt+F4. The screen often flickers when I rollover buttons or links and the nav bar is no more as I had configured it before updating.

PPS: I chose FF 3.0.10 package but the form refsed it affirming that it doesn't exist for ubuntu, I have checked again in FF and it's actually ver 3.0.10 as I wrote.
