scrolling artifacts on screen

Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

When scrolling through a long paragraph on Blogspot.com, the text at the right third of a line often appears to be italic, although the rest of the line is fine. Scrolling down preserves the glitch. Paging it offscreen then back into view will clean up the garbage. However the line at the top of the window MAY be bolluxed now.

The glitch is not a perfect italic, but italic-like because pixels have shifted.
