Bug Description

When I right-click Firefox does what it wants. It does not come up with the menu, just opens a new window or tab, bookmarks the page, tries to sent the page by email. I have reinstalled ubuntu and it still does it same thing. Some days are worse that others. I am using ubuntu 8.10 on a dell c600/500. Any ideas??

Ahh great. I thought it was just me doing something wrong. I get the same thing.

Sometimes/often when i right-click i get a random choice of the right-click-menu before i get a chance to look and choose, certainly before i manage to click on the option i wanted to choose.

I didn't have this trouble with 8.04 but now i'm on 8.10 with firefox 3.0.4 i get it fairly often

I also found a bug #302567 with the same problem. Thanks Tom, you have described the problem better than I did. I does get annoying. I also wanted to mention that it did this once or twice when I tried to save an attachment in thunderbird. I would right click and I would get a dialog box asking if I was sure I wanted to delete all attachment. Not sure if this is related. Thanks everyone and have fun.
