if you are running regular ubuntu, try this:
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras

ubuntu-restricted-extras depends on flash, among other things.

it doesnt give any benefit for this bug for sure. please dont point people to restricted stuff on top of what they already use :) ... after all this is a free software project. thanks.

the right package for flash from multiverse is flashplugin-nonfree atm.
