Moving bookmarks freezes my computer

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

After the creation of a new bookmark folder, it is located at the end of the folders list as expected. But if you try to move the added bookmark, a small hand with an arrow appeared. When a move up this hand in order to place my new bookmark where I want, nothing happens and the system is completely frozen.
Using Ubuntu 8.04.

Please, try to report problems in english in order to be readable by a lot of people ;)

Thanks for translating this. However, we cannot deal with reports from
non-english reporters as those bugs are likely to not get enough
responsiveness.

My problem is the same as the first post in this thread, but in ubuntu 9.10 after upgrading last night. never had this issue with 8,04

Hello.
It happens almost the same to me:
when i try to drag and drop one of the latest bookmarks (and i have a list of around 50 bookmarks) up in the list, the computer freezes, and i have to kill firefox process.

Ubuntu 9.04 [it also happened in 8.10]
Firefox 3.0.10 [it also happened in previous versions]

I'd like to add that I'm running Firefox 3.0.14 in Kubuntu 9.04 and this is also affecting me. Any mouse dragging related to bookmarks causes the whole system to freeze. Since there isn't really any mouse dragging of anything else in firefox (not counting specific webpages), I'm going to go ahead and guess that it's not really related to bookmarks, but is a dragging problem in general.

Also, this bug should no longer be marked as invalid. If the original reason was due to a language barrier, there are now several english speakers who have reported it.
