Cannot open Samba share in Firefox

I cannot open a file from a samba share in the open file dialog screen!

The screenshot you showed is not firefox's it is however nautilus' dialog. There isnt enough info to continue on this bug so if you can please provide steps to reproduce it what you expect to happen and what does happen.

I have added a new screenshot of my complete desktop. As you can see there are no shares visible in the open screen dialog. In gedit when I want to open files I get to see samba shares.

Not related to the samba package, rather to the nautilus package - reassigning.

the screenshot is a gtkfileselector it seems firefox is using the local mode there which makes it a firefox issue
