FF does not honor Preferences for MP3-Files

Bug Description

When I click on a link which is a direct link to a (mp3) file, my FF begins opening it in some plugin (within a new tab) despite the fact I've set up 'Content Type Action' to 'Always Ask' (please, see attached picture).
I want my FF does what I've set up.

Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04.

Confirming with 3.0.1+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu2. This is not an issue with Firefox directly from mozilla.org.
