"shy" hyphenation is also pasted to non-mozilla apps

When I copy a rendered html string containing the ­ hyphenation entity, this is transformed always into a dash when exported into a non-mozilla application. I suppose the hyphenation is ought to be removed completely from the string object which is meant for the clipboard.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04? Thanks in advance.

I now use Kubuntu 8.10, amd64 with KDE 4.2 final. The problem does not occur on that system. Thanks.
