Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

I'm using Firefox 3.0.1 on Intrepid Ibex alpha 3.
When I close websites which have many images (or flashes), it creates some new windows with the images (or flashes) of those websites (Some windows're empty).
If I close those windows, Firefox will also be closed.

I notice the same here (current intrepid i386). Note that these are not advertisement popups, but it rather seems that any "active" content objects (here, they are mostly Flash applets) are somehow "detached" from the firefox "rendering canvas" and seek out a new place to continue, resulting in new windows.

I've already installed some updated packages. The problem seems to be solved.

Thanks for your reply. :-)

Thank you for your bugreport. Since this seems to be an issue with
version 3 of the firefox browser, I'm reassigning the package. If you
feel this is an error, please don't hesitate to add a comment to your
report.
