Gmail crashes Firefox 3b5 on Hardy

Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

Accessing gmail crashes firefox on occasion (approx 1 in 5 times). Crashes at the end of the loading bar before the gmail UI is displayed.

Do you have libflashsupport installed?

If you have it installed see bug #192888 .

Firefox 3 uses the firefox-3.0 package instead of the firefox package, so I've changed it for now.

also let us know if the ffox 3.0 RC1 update available since today
fixes this for you.

Alexander,

Upgraded and tested and the problem still exists with RC1. I will try and install the debug symbols and run the backtrace later today. If you have a link to explain what is needed that would be helpful (so I get the rights bits installed).

ONce you ensured that this is not caused by flash or and extensions
(disable them in tools -> addons), attach a backtrace by following
instructions at:

Can you please try to reproduce this with a new profile? For
instructions on how to do that please refer to the site Alexander posted
right above this post.

I am unable to get "firefox -ProfileManager" to do anything...it just launches firefox as normal. Any other advice, I don't want to destroy my existing profile.
