Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
Restoring a session with multible tabs that have a stored password and request for a login Firefox opens multiple passphrase dialogs to unlock the password database. This is even more annoying if a second dialog pops up in front of the first while you are typing your passphrase.
To reproduce:
1. Configure Firefox to restore the open tabs on start.
2. Open more than one websites that will ask for a password and tell Firefox to remember these passwords.
3. Quit Firefox
4. Start it again and multiple passphrase dialogs will appear
This started with the first Firefox 3.0b package in Ubuntu 8.04. With the Firefox 2.x in 7.10 the behaviour was correct: One dialog independednt from the number of open tabs.

Do you have it set in preferences to use a master password for your
passwords?
I am unable to reproduce this without using the master password pref.
To find out open preferences and go to security and see if the box next
to Use master password is checked. if so uncheck it and it will no
longer do that. If its not checked please follow the instructions at:
https:/
to use a new profile and see if you can reproduce it than.
