Link title attribute incorrectly remembered

Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Suppose you have a link with a title attribute (call this Link A), and you place your mouse over it. After a moment the text within the title attribute pops up in a yellow box. All fine so far. Then place your mouse over any other link which doesn't have a title attribute. The title from Link A is displayed, no matter which link you mouse over.

The real bug is displaying a link title at all, when none is specified by the link. The manifestation is that it displays the title from whatever link was the last one you moused-over which had a title attribute.

For me, the contents of the title tag are always displayed a short while after I stop moving the cursor. Initially, when I haven't positioned the cursor over an object with a title tag yet, a small empty box is displayed. This is very annoying. I'm checking on firefox-3.0 about weekly to see if this is fixed. Now I'm subscribing to this bug to save myself the effort ;-)

I'm attaching a small HTML file that allows to reproduce this behavior. I copied /usr/share/pixmaps/firefox-3.0.png in the directory with the HTML file.

I'm getting this too, but on Vista32. Firefox 3.0.5 -- Google Toolbar and IE-Tab are my only Addons.

It's driving me crazy and I thought I was the only one. Lupe: Your html file *sometimes* will duplicate it for me, but I have yet to be able to consistently duplicate the problem even with that.
