is this still a problem with the latest ffox 3? If so, this is best dealt upstream as its not a ubuntu specific issue.
However, first, verify that this is not caused by some extensions (disable all in tools -> addons and restart). Then please search in http://bugzilla.mozilla.org to ensure that your bug isn't filed; then open a bug in http://bugzilla.mozilla.org and post your bug id (or the one you found matching your issue) here.
