in my toolbar,i have history,bookmarks and printer icons,the home(house) icon is missing.Mozilla/5.0(X11;U;Linux i686; en-US;rv:1.9b5)Gecko/2008040514 Firefox/3.0b5 " Ubuntu 8.04"

Can you please post a screenshot of your issue and try restarting firefox to see if it helps.

forgive me,i'm a new to ubuntu,(house icon fixed,just reset defaults)now i want to give my whole hard drive to ubuntu,learning............. at age 55...........

this home toolbar confusion was fixed quite some time ago.
