Hello Pedro,
The problem seems to be down to conflicts.
I had swfdec-gnome running but didn't know it since Firefox would not open
or even acknowledge the existence of any Flash video (as in You Tube). I
then installed Flashplugin-nonfree. The embedded display would appear but
when I clicked on play the CPU went into overdrive (100% activity and
Firefox froze-up or in one case crashed.
I have now un-installed swfdec-gnome. Flash video plays and Firefox does not
freeze or crash.
Regards,
Howard

Ups.. I searched with synaptics and i haven't got installed the swfdec-gnome
package..
I think that may be the java plugin who causes the system crash...

thanks..
