Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

xserver-xorg 7.3+10ubuntu4
ATI Mobility 9700 using the open-source driver
firefox-3.0 3.0~b3+nobinonly-0ubuntu1

On some pages the background images aren't rendered correctly. Instead, garbage is shown (mostly parts from the window manager and the progam toolbars). This makes browsing the web pretty ugly.

Examples:
http://www.werder.de/index.php
http://www.tuxmachines.org

same problems here - I noticed it on www.msnbc.msn.com. Running Hardy 32-bit with an ATI Radeon Xpress 200M card and the open source drivers.
