Image rendering bug manifesting in the Preferences dialog

Does anyone else see this rendering bug too? It only appears when I switch back off-screen pixmaps.

Or is it unrelated? Similar glitches are also present in other programs like GNOME 2.22 Appearance dialog or the scrollbars in every app in KDE 4...

It would be best if Xorg was willing to fix it including backports to old X releases
