While this looks like an odd flaky I/O issue there is a real upstream issue behind it:

I have prepped all we need into a Debian merge of the most recent upstream.

Once merged there the auto-sync will fix it for us as well.
P.S. There is no need to rush a ubuntu delta upload as we also need to fix bug 1903962
