Bug Description

Binary package hint: findutils

After "apt-get remove mlocate" I get "run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/find exited with return code 1" every day.

/etc/cron.daily/find is a cron job to run updatedb. Why is it in the findutils package instead of mlocate?

Hm, this is supposed to be fixed in your findutils 4.4.0-2ubuntu4 already. Please refer to the duplicate bug where this particular file is discussed.
