Bug Description

Binary package hint: file-roller

Well, when I want to select multiple files in file-roller just by dragging mouse to make a rectangle, it can't do that. One has to use keyboard shortcuts like ctrl or shift to get multiple selections.

If this feature was added, I would be very pleased. Thank you.

Yes, I have also realized that it is not possible to make multiple
selections by mouse on list mode at nautilus. In my opinion, there must
be a way to allow such actions by mouse.

Maybe a icon view mode to file-roller would be fine. Thanks.

right , that sounds better to me, there's an upstream bug for it at https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=170334 and that's being tracked on bug 235867, marking this report as a dup of the last one, thanks for the quick reply lipstick.
