"create archive" option does not work on some filenames

Bug Description
Dapper. I have a folder called
Dawkins - 2 capitoli dal libro "L' arcobaleno della vita" - sulla superstizione astrologia ecc - in italiano
If I right-click it and choose "create archive", nothing happens.

Here's a patch that fixes this. I also sent it upstream (I don't know if I'm supposed to though) - see gnome's bugzilla for details.
