description |
This is a bad one. Open an archive in file-roller and try to navigate the directory tree.
I submitted a test case. Open my testcase.tar.gz in file-roller, and do exactly the following:
1) double click on dir1
2) double click on dir4 REALLY FAST (or even sorta fast), or try triple-clicking on dir4 to more easily demonstrate it
3) you will notice that the drag-and-drop for file3, the element under dir4, is activated. either that or there is a drag and drop activated for the broken pointer of dir4 and it won't stop. to get rid of it, try double clicking on an empty spot in the listview of file-roller a few times or go to a VT and type killall file-roller.
This is dangerous because people could lose data when file-roller is holding their X session hostage with a drag and drop. It also makes file-roller frustrating to use. |

1) double click on dir1
2) make sure the sort is activated such that dir4 appears on the top. just click the name column again if you need to.
