Bug Description

For example if I have one of archive types i.e tar.gz and that it contains dir and that dir contains multiple files (~/files) (test.bmp, test.jpg)

When I open this archive (files.tar.gz) with file roller and choose extract and point it to custome dir(~/test) it extracts files but doesn't put them in to directory like it should (~/test/files/) but in to uper dir (~/test)

If I try to extract this archive in nautilus with right click - extract archive it does perfect job files goes in to right dir (~/test/files/)

This bug I found only in Dapper. I think that in Breezy this bug wasn't present.

Thanks for your bug. Do you still have the issue? That works fine for me on dapper. Could you attach an example? Do you click somewhere before clicking on the extract button from file-roller?
