Can't make a compressed file on a remote folder

Binary package hint: file-roller

Hi,
trying to make a zip archive with files located on a smb share gives me this error (from italian):
"Error opening file '/home/gliporace/.cache/.fr-x-xKtnQz/remote-folder/random-file-to-zip.ext': is a directory".

The strange thing is that looking in '/home/gliporace/.cache/.fr-x-xKtnQz/remote-folder/' there's indeed a directory named 'random-file-to-zip.ext' which is instead a file.
