Bug Description
Binary package hint: file-roller
When trying to open an archive file that is located on a remote location (like a Samba share, or through SFTP+gvfs) file-roller gives the error message "Operation not supported". When started from command line, it prints "WARNING **: Failed to delete the local copy: Operation not supported". The file is not opened then.
This happens in all cases (opening from Nautilus, manually running file-roller "smb://..." from command line, or running file-roller and using File->Open). The archive file itself is ok and reachable (I can copy it to the local disk with Nautilus and open it from there).
I think this is a regression, because in Hardy file-roller can access remote files just fine.
This was tested on Intrepid (alpha4 plus all updates), with file-roller 2.23.6-0ubuntu1 and gvfs 0.99.5-0ubuntu1.
