Thank you for you bug report, but this seems to be fixed in file-roller 2.20.0-0ubuntu1 (Gutsy)

Pedro, I'm not agree with you. I use the file-roller 2.20.1-0ubuntu1 (gutsy-updates) and still have the problem. I tried with 2.20.0-0ubuntu1 (gutsy) too. I have "Extract here" in place of the "Create an archive" on exe files.

I'm using file-roller 2.21.91 on Ubuntu Hardy, i downloaded an .exe (putty.exe) and the menu Create and archive appears,

putty.exe: MS-DOS executable PE for MS Windows (GUI) Intel 80386 32-bit

I got the option to create an archive on Hardy.

Closing as this works on Hardy.

The upstream bug is the wrong way round, that was about extracting files *from* EXE files, not making archives out of EXE files.

I do not get the option to create archive in jaunty-beta. I only get the Extract Here option. file-roller 2.26.1-0ubuntu1.
