file-roller doesn't use gzip/tar default options

Ubuntu 16.04
Normally using tar with gzip (tar cvzf file.tgz files) will store symlinks, but not follow them, but file-roller follows symlinks and unexpectedly compresses all link targets along with the other data.
Please restore file-roller to use the default compression options.
