Bug Description
This is a regression from a 11.x. Problem description:
In Quantal 12.10, the http_proxy variable gets stuck (at least on bash) to the proxy setting even if it's not set. The only way to get it refreshed properly is to logout and login.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Using networking set the proxy
2. Open terminal verify that the $http_proxy is set up
3. Suspend the computer (optional)
4. Unset the proxy
5. echo $http_proxy
The problem was gone in 12.04
