package fglrx (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-removal script returned error exit status 1

In jockey I tried to install fglrx-updates (post release) and it wouldn't install and then I had issues with fglrx (the second option in jockey) finally I ran "sudo dpkg-reconfigure fglrx-updates fglrx-amdcccle-updates" after I installed them from synaptic, jockey still doesn't see it installed tho but it seems to be working fine.
