package fglrx 2:8.723.1-0ubuntu6 failed to install/upgrade: fglrx kernel module failed to build

I uninstalled all the kernels I had set up, I reinstalled the default kernel. FGlRX failed, so I rebooted and tried to reinstall it with the intention of getting it to work and NO DICE.

I just want FGLRX to work again.

Have another post up regarding virtualbox, which is ( I believe the reason why all this crap is happening)
It says that there is no install in the file archives or something like that.

fgkrx installer does not exist
so i can't do the prompt.

This was Synaptic's response to trying to install everything that has to do with FGLRX.
