Bug Description
Sometimes without prompt the icon used for the mouse will change away from the usual arrow to a line of around 10 vertical dots. I can't find what makes them change or how to change then back (they seem to change back again randomly). The icon only changes when prompted as it will only change when it goes over something and then change back under the same conditions usually about 15 minutes later. The icon never changes when I'm not using the mouse. I am using 12.04 beta 2 but this bug would occur before I upgraded from 11.10
