ATI driver 12.3 and it failed.

I would request this bug be removed from its duplicate status as the driver was downloaded from AMD website and not from Ubuntu's repository.

As said upon installing the driver i get the following message:
Uninstalling any previously installed drivers.

Creating symlink /var/lib/dkms/fglrx/8.951/source ->
                 /usr/src/fglrx-8.951

DKMS: add completed.
