This is fresh upgrade from oniric to precice. The Oniric install had no problems running tvtime mplayer or vlc. Whenever any of these application accesses the tvcard using fglrx drivers the display crashes to login. For example if I start tvime, the application opens normally but then switches to fullscreen and then immediately closes. This occurs even if I run with a -M switch which instructs tvtime to run in window.
This does not occur with the radeon/mesa drivers. I tried both the fglrx:2:
