fglrx blacks changing graphics

Bug #816290 reported by Redmar on 2011-07-26

fglrx-installer (Ubuntu)

Bug Description

With fglrx installed changing parts of the screen will go black. For exampling, scrolling text in a terminal will black out the terminal, I have to drag the window to get the content back. I've tried to take a screenshot of this, but taking a screenshot takes the focus away from the active window, which blacks out the whole window. (See attached screenshot). It also blacks out part of a window, for example weblinks in firefox that are hovered, or single lines that are selected in the terminal.
