Bug Description

Install from: System Administration->Hardware Drivers->Activate ATI/AMD Proprietary FGLRX graphics driver
Ubuntu 10.04.1 amd64 fresh install
Card: Diamond Radeon HD 5770 OCX
Package: fglrx 2:8.723.1-0ubuntu4
Error: failed to install/upgrade: SystemError: InstallArchives() failed

Following error fglrxinfo yields: Segmentation fault

Appears T/B same problem as reported in Bug #641623
