Xorg freeze

Binary package hint: xorg

Consequent upon fglrx freezes (see bug 600312 and 542603, I switched to a VESA mode driver. However, I have had two system freezes despite this. I suspect that X freezes first and then forces a complete system lock up. I cannot figure out why but hope the attached logs help.
