Bug Description

Binary package hint: xorg

This is probably related to Bug #463762

Pressing Alt+F[1-8] switches me from the X server to console. Say, if I press Alt-F4, I am switched to tty4 AND action bound to this key combination (close the window) is executed.

Every time I switch the lines like these are written to the system log:

Jun 5 02:13:11 sjinks acpid: client 1231[0:0] has disconnected
Jun 5 02:13:11 sjinks acpid: client connected from 1231[0:0]
Jun 5 02:13:11 sjinks acpid: 1 client rule loaded

Probably unrealted, but sometimes garbage like this is also written:

Jun 5 02:14:55 sjinks kernel: 5768 p12ut262.483:oainoe d26an42ri=u/boc/p qsdmkr:di_s": u=0od00a=a/a/mi/isru/voiel"523.03te5 ut262.483:orinonpd26 an42rfe/rideto"eee_s": nda=w"sd0 i50a=v/ivi/ik.r.aoetnx<[0768 p=5 ut262.483:ori=i_c"i26pe=3pfl=/sl/vo/o3rut_s=: eemkk"sd0 i50a=/ra/a/isru/voie<>86.18te5 d(7999:34 pao"llkp=2 rt7 ol"sl/vop3 eut_a=:"eemkk"sd0 i50a=v/ivisn.gaoc.ne
